Built in the 19th Century, the two-storey cottage is constructed in stone that was hidden from view behind a faded yellow mortar rendering.  In 2004 it was gutted and entirely reconstructed internally.  This has created a large living room with dining area, an American-style kitchen, and shower-room/WC downstairs.  On the first floor is a gallery room with twin beds, and the principal room with a double bed. There is a separate laundry room.

The Living and Dining Area (31m2)

The large living room has two comfortable armchairs and a settee that converts to a two person bed if more than four people are staying.  The table has four chairs, and two more will be provided if required.  The downstairs area is open plan, which ensures a light and airy feel.

The Kitchen (6m2)

The kitchen is also situated on the ground floor, with worktops on two sides and ground level cupboards.  There is a cooker  and fridge; and it is stocked with kettle, toaster, coffee maker and other pots, pans and utensils.

 

Shower Room (7m2)

The well proportioned shower room is fully tiled and has a shower,          toilet and wash stand/vanity unit.  

                 Stairs to Upper Floor 

                                The stairs have been locally crafted to the highest quality, presenting a pleasant feature, 

as well as functionality.

The gated stairs lead to the twin bedroom, and the principal double bedroom.  Both rooms have bedside tables with lamps, chests of drawers, hanging rails, and extra blankets. Each room is 11 square metres.

And outside the cottage

You will have your own street entrance leading to a courtyard with garden table and chairs.  There is a charcoal BBQ for your use, and you are welcome to use the garden area.  The garden is approximately one hectare.  Parking is off-road in our driveway.
