Built in the 19th Century, the two-storey cottage is constructed in stone that was hidden from view behind a faded yellow mortar rendering. In 2004 it was gutted and entirely reconstructed internally. This has created a large living room with dining area, an American-style kitchen, and shower-room/WC downstairs. On the first floor is a gallery with twin beds, and the principle room with a double-bed.

The large living room has two comfortable armchairs and a settee that converts to a two person bed if more than four people are staying. The table has four chairs, and two more will be provided if required. The downstairs area is open plan which ensures a light and airy feel.
The kitchen is also situated on the ground floor, with worktops on two sides
and ground level cupboards. There is a cooker and fridge; and it is
properly stocked with kettle, toaster, coffee maker and other pots, pans and
utensils.

The
well proportioned shower room is fully tiled and has fitted a new shower, toilet
and wash stand/vanity unit.
The stairs have been locally crafted to the highest quality and present a pleasant feature, as well as being useful.
The gated stairs lead to a gallery twin bedroom and the principle double bedroom. Both bedrooms have bedside tables with lamps, chests of drawers, hanging rails, and extra blankets.
